About · Practice

A senior practitioner working at the intersection of systems thinking, AI workflows, and enterprise product design.

I design product systems for organizations where the workflow is the experience — insurance, logistics, trust & safety, regulated SaaS, and AI-native platforms in their messy operational middle.

My work sits between three disciplines: systems architecture, operational design, and AI product strategy. I'm most useful when ambiguity is high, the org chart is complicated, the model is real, and the rollout has to land inside a live business.

I've led design at Director and Staff levels, built and scaled teams from two to eighty, and operationalized AI in domains where wrong answers have real consequences. I write, teach, and speak about it because the vocabulary is still being invented.

Nadia Elinbabi

I'm the author of AI for UX, a forthcoming book from O'Reilly written for design practitioners who want to become measurably more efficient, more productive, and more effective in an AI-native craft.

The book is a working manual — frameworks, workflows, and operating patterns for designers integrating AI into their daily practice without losing rigor, taste, or judgment.

Operating Strengths

What I bring to the table.

S · 01
Strength

Systems Thinking

I naturally think in workflows, orchestration layers, operational dependencies, and scalable ecosystems — not isolated screens or features.

S · 02
Strength

AI Operationalization

Integrating AI into real operational environments, with a strong focus on trust, explainability, governance, and human-in-the-loop workflows.

S · 03
Strength

Enterprise Workflow Design

Most energized by large, messy, ambiguous systems problems involving operational complexity, cross-functional coordination, and organizational alignment.

Strength

Cross-Functional Translation

Comfortable across product, UX, engineering, operations, analytics, and executive conversations — creating clarity in high-ambiguity environments.
